Did my dishes, some laundry (yay for fresh, still-warm-from-the-dryer sheets), my groceries and now I&apos;m making a big batch of my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flubu.com\/images\/LJ\/sauce.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">pasta sauce<\/a>. Talked a bit with <a href=\"http:\/\/users.livejournal.com\/raspberrysalmon\/profile\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/stat.livejournal.com\/img\/userinfo.gif\" alt=\"[info]\" width=\"17\" height=\"17\" border=\"0\" align=\"absmiddle\"\/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/users.livejournal.com\/raspberrysalmon\/\"><b>raspberrysalmon<\/b><\/a>, and now I think I&apos;m going to go become one with my couch while the sauce simmers. I don&apos;t want to take a nap, even if it&apos;s uber tempting right now. I think if I do, there&apos;s no way in hell I&apos;m going to get up to go to Ben&apos;s birthday party tonight.<\/p>\n<p>I think I&apos;m just going to pop over for a bit and say hello to people, but I don&apos;t really feel like spending yet another night drinking. That would make it 3 nights running, and that would be just wrong. <\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow, I&apos;m going to Ikea to pick up my kitchen island with <a href=\"http:\/\/users.livejournal.com\/eniran\/profile\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/stat.livejournal.com\/img\/userinfo.gif\" alt=\"[info]\" width=\"17\" height=\"17\" border=\"0\" align=\"absmiddle\"\/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/users.livejournal.com\/eniran\/\"><b>eniran<\/b><\/a>, and I still need to go buy some sanding paper to finish the plaster. I&apos;ll paint next weekend :) Sounds like a plan.<\/p>\n<p>And remember, all vegetables are equal &#8211; but some veggies are more equal than others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today was a very domestic day.
