{"id":1848,"date":"2005-01-27T19:06:00","date_gmt":"2005-01-27T19:06:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.flubu.com\/blog\/2005\/01\/27\/recipe-tuna-recipes\/"},"modified":"2005-01-27T19:06:00","modified_gmt":"2005-01-27T19:06:00","slug":"recipe-tuna-recipes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.flubu.com\/blog\/2005\/01\/27\/recipe-tuna-recipes\/","title":{"rendered":"[Recipe] Tuna recipes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--cut=\"Tuna Casserole\"--><br \/>\n<b>Tuna Noodle Casserole<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Yield: 2 servings<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients: <\/p>\n<p>1\/2 lb. egg noodles, cooked, and, drained<br \/>\n2 tbsp oil<br \/>\n1 onion, sliced, thinly<br \/>\n1 potato, chopped, small<br \/>\n2 tomato, chopped<br \/>\n8 mushroom, sliced<br \/>\n1 cup milk<br \/>\n1 x 7 oz tin tuna, drained<br \/>\n1\/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated<br \/>\n1 handful breadcrumbs<\/p>\n<p>Directions: <\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Preheat the oven to 375F.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Heat the oil in a frypan over high heat. Add the onion, mushrooms and tomatoes and cook for 2-3 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Toss the noodles with vegetables, milk, tuna and cheese.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Place the mixture in an ovenproof dish and top with breadcrumbs. Bake for 15-20 minutes.<!--\/cut--><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><!--cut=\"Tuna Mayonnaise\"--><br \/>\n<b>Tuna salad mix with homemade mayo<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Ingredients<\/p>\n<p>2 eggs, yolks only<br \/>\n1 tsp Dijon mustard<br \/>\n120ml vegetable oil<br \/>\nlemon, juice only<br \/>\n1 tbsp white wine vinegar<br \/>\n1 x 7 oz tin tuna, drained and flaked<br \/>\n1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped<br \/>\nsalt and freshly ground black pepper<\/p>\n<p>Method<br \/>\n1. Begin by preparing the mayonnaise.<br \/>\n2. Place the 2 egg yolks and mustard in a bowl and beat.<br \/>\n3. Gradually beat in the vegetable oil.<br \/>\n4. Carefully beat in the lemon juice, vinegar and seasoning.<br \/>\n5. Gently fold in the tuna.<br \/>\n6. Spoon the tuna mayonnaise into a dish.<br \/>\n7.
