I can install dependencies on the fly and make sure that the latest libraries are there.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, this is not so on our production machines where I am a lowly user and at the whims of the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.urbandictionary.com\/define.php?term=BOFH\">BOFHs<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>For the past 2 days, I have been trying to compile and install a piece of software.
