I watched American Ninja tonight. It was so bad, it looped all the way back to good. Now ninja movies are a guilty pleasure that dates back know to when I was a kid.<\/p>\n

This movie has all of the quintessential hallmarks of the 80s over acted action movie. The gung-ho black guy draped in bullets, the simpering damsel-in-distress love interest who gets slapped around a bit and keeps whining about her shoes (see also, Romancing the stone), the wooden, predictably, painfully stereotyped B-movie grade acting. Add badly choreographed ninja fight scenes, throw in frikkin’ lasers (dude!), a bad guy with a really fake french accent, and voil\u00e0! 80s cheesy goodness!<\/p>\n

Can’t wait to download the sequels!<\/p>\n
