Fifteen ships of the Royal Navy have been named HMS Enterprise (or HMS Enterprize), the earliest dating from 1705. There have been ten ships from the US navy that have been named USS Enterprise, the earliest of those from 1775. Still, the best remembered crew will is, and shall always be, that of NCC-1701.<\/p>\n
