I ran the trail this morning. Even though it’s a nice run, I’m always afraid of tripping on a tree root hidden by leaves, or something like that, so I’m always a bit more careful running it.<\/p>\n

This morning, I faceplanted in the most stupendous way. It wasn’t in the forest though, it was on the beach. I tripped on something, no idea what, and I cartoonishly got some really good air, then skidded for about a foot in small gravel and seashells.<\/p>\n

On my face. As in, spitting out a mouthful of dirt. Fortunately, the only witness was a swan. So I brushed myself off and carried on with my run, with only a few scratches on my face and a bit of road rash on my hand.<\/p>\n
