The previous post got me thinking about what I refer to as “The House Rules”. I've been adding to them off and on, and I never got around to writing them down. I'll probably be adding to them later on, but here are the first ones:<\/p>\n
1. Never say “I love you” without really meaning it.
\n2. Never be afraid to ask a question.
\n3. Act as though you belong where you are and know what you're doing, and people usually don't question those facts.
\n4. Never deny yourself pleasure, it's not as though people are rushing up to you to make sureyou're happy.
\n5. Say what needs to be said. Keeping things unsaid will make all involved miserable in the end.
\n6. Deal with the fucking consequences. If you screwed up, don't pass the blame around. Don't do anything you're not ready to face the music for.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
