Im officially on vacation

Posted on December 22, 2003 By admin 1 Comment on Im officially on vacation

Yayayayayayayayayayayayayayayyyyyyyyy!

<singsong voice>I'm on vacation, I'm on vacation</singsong voice>

Just sent off the last bit of work I needed to do for a client, and now I'm free as the wind. No more work stuff to do for 2003. Happy dance!

Today was a productive day. Picked up my passport from the passport office (and as expected, I look like an ax murderer, but I'm getting used to having bad ID pictures). Got into work, blitzed through the analysis I needed to do for the INRS, and here we are. I'm going to stay at the office, as I'm having dinner with [info]strychnyn. I'll take this time to write send some xmas e-cards and emails. I'm leaving for Buckingham tomorrow morning, for a few days of insanity and good food. That'll be fun.

Quote of the day

Sham Harga had run a succesful eatery for many years by always smiling, never extending credit, and realizing that most of his customers wanted meals properly balanced between the four food groups: sugar, starch, grease and burnt crunchy bits.
--(Terry Pratchett, Men at Arms)
