Lili, my official not-my-dog for over 6 years, has gone to doggy heaven today. At close to 11, she’d done well for a boxer, but things had been going downhill fast for the last week, and today’s diagnosis of multiple brain tumours was not unexpected, but still a shock.
I’ve been going through my old photos. We had some good times these past years. I’m sad, I imagine that Guillaume is going through much worse…

Their 2nd meeting went already much better than the 1st one.
Lili wasn’t overly sure about having a cotton but swirled in her mouth for 30s,but then she got lots of cuddles (and some roast beef) so it was all good. The people in the coffee area were all *awwww, puppy at work!!”, which was funny. She was a trooper, then charmed the pants off oh everyone.
… and has to take an impromptu nap on the armrest.
Lili is helping us choose a wine to go with dinner.
We’re aaaaallllll going mad. Some more than others.
We’ve had her a week already, and have her until Saturday. The cats are getting bold now :) As always, she’s good for my mental health, but she’s getting to be an older lady and I worry about that leg…
