This is what the Liberal campaign needs

Posted on June 8, 2004 By admin

BUDAPEST (Reuters) – “Boys, if you vote for the liberals, I'll strip,” a girl in jeans and a revealing shirt teases Hungarian voters in a mock advert for the European elections. It was filmed for a joke during the shooting of the liberal Free Democrats official broadcast, in which the girl features, campaign coordinator Gabor Horn told Hungarian news portal index.hu.

The Web site has posted the seven-second clip at www.index.hu/cikkepek/0406/szdsz.mpa.

The short ad is a lighter moment in an increasingly bitter campaign for the June 13 elections in which the ruling party Socialists and opposition Fidesz sling mud at each other.

If you find an Atheist in your neighborhood….

Posted on June 8, 2004 By admin 8 Comments on If you find an Atheist in your neighborhood….

Atheists are often very grumpy and bitter and will lash out at children
or they may even try to trick you into neglecting God's Word.

I ended up on this website today: http://objective.jesussave.us/kidz.html, don't ask me how I got here, I don't even know myself.

Man…. I have my beefs with organized religion. I especially have issues with people saying “my religion is better than yours”. Case and point, a quote from the website, when Lambuel asks Habu (an elephant dressed up as a hindu):

Wouldn't you rather have just one God who loves you a bunch than a bunch of gods that don't love you at all? Jesus loves everybody, even the unsaved like [you]

Then you have Professor Giraffenstein, the creation scientist, who says that the earth is less than 10,000 years old and T-Rex was a herbivore (so the Ark's passengers were safe, yay!).

Man, this website is making me violent…. I'm sorry if this might offend some people, it's not my wish, but material like this makes me really, really mad. I'm reading the answer of Herr Professor Giraffstein about who was Cain's wife. Basically, if you believe the book of Genesis, you realize that it's either a sister or a niece. Yay, incest. But it's ok. Incest at that time was ok, because our genes were still in their divine state, before sin got involved and started introducing mutations (boo!)

I'm not making this stuff up. This is quoted from a christian science website:

This means that the entrance of sin into the world caused humanity's once-perfect “genes” to become more and more imperfect with time. Since close relatives have similar flaws, then the flaw would be highlighted and emphasized in any kids they might have. But before sin had a chance to mess things up bad, people could marry a close relative and not worry about the effects to their kids. Once sin and death started adding flaws to a person's genetic code, God in His wisdom made some rules against marrying close relatives. God is SO SMART!

Can't explain something? Say God did it and it's all good. Next question please!

Fuuuuck. I'm going to go bash my head against a wall for a little while now.

Edit: sorry [info]blacksquiggles, I couldn't help it… I found more stuff to rant on.

Why apple computers are sold by godless communist hippies

Original link: http://objective.jesussave.us/propaganda.html

However, these propagandists aren't just targeting the young. Take for example Apple Computers, makers of the popular Macintosh line of computers. The real operating system hiding under the newest version of the Macintosh operating system (MacOS X) is called… Darwin! That's right, new Macs are based on Darwinism! While they currently don't advertise this fact to consumers, it is well known among the computer elite, who are mostly Atheists and Pagans. Furthermore, the Darwin OS is released under an “Open Source” license, which is just another name for Communism. They try to hide all of this under a facade of shiny, “lickable” buttons, but the truth has finally come out: Apple Computers promote Godless Darwinism and Communism.

But is this really such a shock? Lets look for a moment at Apple Computers. Founded by long haired hippies, this company has consistently supported 60's counter-cultural “values”. But there are even darker undertones to this company than most are aware of. Consider the name of the company and its logo: an apple with a bite taken out of it. This is clearly a reference to the Fall, when Adam and Eve were tempted with an apple by the serpent. It is now Apple Computers offering us temptation, thereby aligning themselves with the forces of darkness.

Oh dear lord…

Posted on June 8, 2004 By admin 10 Comments on Oh dear lord…

I've been re-reading the Harry Potter books recently, mostly because the latest movie is out. A few days ago, I ran across a link on FARK about HP fanfiction.

Now I have nothing against fanfiction. I've read some really good stories over the years. These are not some of them… You might wonder why I'm putting up a list then. I just want to share my amazement with all you fine people. You would think that after years on the internet, I'd cease to be surprised at what people will come up with…. Apparently this is not the case.

Here, for your pleasure, are some of the websites I came across while doing a quick googling for Harry Potter Fanfiction:

[info]weasleycest: an LJ community that is dedicated to fanfic involving usually more than one Weasley.

[info]pornish_pixies and [info]erotic_elves: two communities “that hosts nothing but smutty Harry Potter fanfiction and fanart”. The first is slash and femslash, the second is hetero.

http://afa.expecto-patronum.net/index2.html : another weaslycest website. Apparently, it's a popular topic.

http://www.fictionalley.org/fictionalleypark/forums/forumdisplay.php?forumid=14: a listing that points to stories written about ANY KNOWN CHARACTER PAIRING YOU CAN THINK OF! and I do mean any!

Look, that's why there's rules, understand? So that you *think* before you break 'em.
