kaliko_mel, who was in town for a few days. It was a nice way to spent a few hours. Talked a lot, laughed quite a bit. It's a bit of a shame that I won't have a chance to see her again for the next forseeable while. On my way back, while we were walking to the metro, I put my foot in a puddle that was deceptively deep and kinda-sorta twisted my ankle. It didn't go crack, and I can still walk on it, but it smarts like a sonuvabitch. I am not amused.

I's fine. It was painful for part of the afternoon, but it's mostly back to normal now. t was just a false step more than a twist.
