The admin officer at the EBI kinda sorta forgot to get the paperwork out for my passport stamp. Without that, I can't legally get into the country. Without that, I can't leave.
If I hadn't followed up, I'D HAVE BEEN SCREWED.
It'll take 10 business days to get it done. This means that my plans to leave on the 11th of april are shot to hell. It's early, I haven't had coffee and I just found this out.

Um, sometimes if you have documents that state that you Will Be Travelling on a given date, the passport office will be willing to expedite them. I expect that if you have a job waiting for you at Cambridge, that would be the case. I think the government sites would have some info for you.
