Has the whole continental US gone that stupid?

Posted on April 22, 2005 By admin 7 Comments on Has the whole continental US gone that stupid?

Two traveling penguins from Seaworld in San Diego went through regular airport screening at Denver International Airport recently. Here, Pat and Penny are removed from their carry-on case so they can walk through the metal detector.

Somewhere, somebody is cackling in glee at this.

Ugh, ridiculous. Although I have to say that when my cat came with me to California last year I had to take him out of the carrier and carry him through the metal detector. And then I somehow got him back in the carrier. It's a good thing my cat is very laid back–you know cats, you can imagine other scenarios. Frankly, I think it would have been more of a security issue if my kitty had escaped and started running around the airport.

my cat likes to sleep in his carrier, so I don't really have that problem :)

Denver is more laid back than many parts of the US.

They might be gay. But no one knows… because of the Don't ask, Don't tell policy.

Quote of the day

Look, that's why there's rules, understand? So that you *think* before you break 'em.
