Based on lunchtime conversation

Posted on September 22, 2006 By admin 5 Comments on Based on lunchtime conversation

A Brazilian employee at the EBI was observed dipping his remaining chips in the custard of his apple/rhubarb-crumble-with-custard pudding and started quite a debate, some real-life comments in the poll below. So I ask you:

You need an option that says stomach instead of head.

That reminds me of the day I was dared to try chips, ranch dip, and ice cream together. Oh god, I wanted to vomit. It was nasty. Though maybe an onion dip would have been better.

Though the idea of sweet and savoury mixed is always good… like trail mix, or nuts and gum.

This is chips in the British sense, what us Americans call french fries, right? Thats slightly better than the thought of what Americans think of as chips (British “crisps”, I think) dipped in custard. Now THAT would be just W*R*O*N*G)

Quote of the day

Ankh-Morpork had dallied with many forms of government and had ended up with that form of democracy known as One Man, One Vote. The Patrician was the Man; he had the Vote.
