We were planning on going to Canada in the fall and paying for it with the tax refund I was expecting to get. I’m still expecting to get it, except I’ve been informed that it might only be processed in October or November. Blergh. On the flip side, I might be getting some completely unexpected money from a pay equity case that Canada Post lost. Apparently it’s been 30 years in the making, but they have to retroactively compensate every employee that qualifies, even if it was only a part time summer job 20 years ago. I have no idea what to expect, but it should be better than a kick in the face.
WTF, ass ?
It’s happened to everyone, I’m sure, to butt-dial someone. It would seem that my ass was inspired today, as there are 23 new screenshots on my phone, involving my texts, weather app, browser, and fruit ninja knockoff in German. Given how actually bloody hard it is to take an Android screenshot ON PURPOSE, I’m actually quite impressed.
Major milestone
Bean lost his first tooth today. It fell out while he was at school (potentially when he got smacked in the face by Zoe – the details are fuzzy). Still, the tooth fairy came and left him 2 CHF (inflation !)
