Late pants of the month club entries
Katy’s been in England for the last couple of months, so she got all her pants of the month club goodies in one go. I’m beginning to be jealous of her pants. I mean, come on! R2D2 and BB8? Kickass! Pacman? Classic! Stained glass? Classy!
How to piss off everybody at once!
Ninjas, with lasers
I watched American Ninja tonight. It was so bad, it looped all the way back to good. Now ninja movies are a guilty pleasure that dates back know to when I was a kid.
This movie has all of the quintessential hallmarks of the 80s over acted action movie. The gung-ho black guy draped in bullets, the simpering damsel-in-distress love interest who gets slapped around a bit and keeps whining about her shoes (see also, Romancing the stone), the wooden, predictably, painfully stereotyped B-movie grade acting. Add badly choreographed ninja fight scenes, throw in frikkin’ lasers (dude!), a bad guy with a really fake french accent, and voilà! 80s cheesy goodness!
Can’t wait to download the sequels!

I worried a lot. Will the garden grow, will the rivers
flow in the right direction, will the earth turn
as it was taught, and if not how shall
I correct it?
Was I right, was I wrong, will I be forgiven,
can I do better?
Will I ever be able to sing, even the sparrows
can do it and I am, well,
hopeless.
Is my eyesight fading or am I just imagining it,
am I going to get rheumatism,
lockjaw, dementia?
Finally I saw that worrying had come to nothing.
And gave it up. And took my old body
and went out into the morning,
and sang.
