Colin and I achieved red-hot metal without explosion or immolation. This is a win in our books. Going to start trying again to make a fully fledged knife.

Swiss F18s formation flying
The Swiss military is doing formation flying drills over the lake this morning. They’ve been buzzing over the EPFL campus for the last 20 minutes or so. Damn, they’re fast! They’re almost already out of frame as soon as I have the reflex to press the shutter button. And the noise is impressive!

I took Not-my-dog with me to my doc appointment in St-Sulpice. I’ve done it before and the doc loves her. We were early today so we shared a croissant on a nearby park bench, before she went on a full-on charm offensive with a tennis ball.
