The day itself was quiet at work, and drama-free at home, which is kind of what I wanted. Gino, Mira, Colin and Karen are coming on saturday for drinks and nibbles. Physically, I feel the same. Psychologically, I still need to process what I want it to mean that I’ve turned 50. I am somewhat smug that I’ve “won” the bet Mel made so many years ago (and doesn’t remember, and Katy doesn’t want me to remind him of), but beyond that, not much has changed.
