Notes from a bemused canuck
250g plain flour
360ml whole milk
2 large eggs
90g melted butter
1 tbsp vanilla extract
4 tbsp sugar
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
Sift dry ingredients together.
Mix wet ingredients together in a separate bowl.
Combine and mix well.
Let stand 20 minutes while you prep the waffle maker.
Mine take 8 minutes to cook.
Tried my new head razor today. Fairly pleased with the results, but for future reference, use the clippers to get rid of the bulk of it if my hair is long-ish.
There’s enough booze to kill a small horse, twice.

On a sadder note, today was the last day at the NIHS for a colleague who was only here for a 1-year mission. She’s going back to Germany for a couple of months, before her maternity leave kicks in.
