Amusing glitch in the matrix
I was trying to confirm an address detail using Google street view. Normally, when you move around along a road, the pictures are consistent as they generally come from the same mapping run. This is the 1st time I’ve come across this – two adjacent pictures coming from two different runs, on different days. Note the difference in the weather and how the cars are parked

As slogans go, it is perhaps the most confusing of Boris Johnson’s lockdown soundbites – which is saying something for a campaign whose previous tripartite offerings include the widely derided “Stay alert, control the virus, save lives”, the disappointing sequel to “Stay home, protect the NHS, save lives”.

Yesterday was Swiss national day. The eve of which all shops close early and mess up your berry pavlova making plans. A day where everything should be shut (but nobody told the vendors in the weekly farmer’s market, thereby reviving your berry pavlova plans).
Clan Jones and clan Grogan-Cote met up at clan Lannutti for a great evening of friends, food (!!, including the berry pavlova and the boozy pineapple), wine, laughter and lots of doggy kisses.
Lily was a major center of attention and she loves every minute of it. She loved walking home in the middle of a downpour at 1am a lot less, but she got a good towelling off and she’s going to have a quiet day today, probably like a lot of people.

Running
Since the gym is still closed, I’ve started running to try and get some sort of exercise when I’m working from home. I’m not a fast runner, but at least my pace is consistent. I’m working on increasing my distance now. I can do 2k without problem, and today I added an extra lap, up to 2.4k. I’m going to try and get to 5k by the end of the year.
