My morning wake-up call purrs
Ever since Katy left for Blighty, Pavel has become uber clingy. I’ll wake up with him sprawled all along my back, or sometimes, like this morning, with him on my pillow with his back (if I’m lucky) or his butt (if I’m not) pressed to the side of my head.
Other times, I’ll just wake up with him perched on the crossbeam looking down at me like a furry gargoyle, chittering at me to go and feed him.
Unimpressed cat is unimpressed
Pavel was not a used this morning when I didn’t feel like giving him fuss at 6am when he clearly and vocally demanded it.

Hot snail on snail action
Two of our snails have been jiggy with it for the past couple of hours today. Rock on, sweet, sweet hermaphrodite gastropod mollusc lovin’.
Watching a snail eating is oddly oddly compelling
They’re fascinating creatures. The eye stalks can completely retract into the body. If you look closely, you can see then bite and chew. Totally random pet that turned into a good idea over time.
Human! You’re in my spot!
I had to turf Reenie out of my side of the bed twice before being able to lie down. Soon after, she climbed on my bits to let her displeasure be known.
It’s a lazy Sunday morning for everyone
