We went to the potter’s market today and bought some nice sushi plates. So I just had to make make rolls to try them out. Egg, roasted turkey and even a bit of leftover meatloaf :) #fusion #noborders

Best stick ev4r!
Every morning for the past 4 days, we’ve been taking Eric for a walk in the woods. The best part of that, for him, has been when we fling a stick in the lake for him to fetch. After that, he just carries the stick with him until we get close to home. Every day he finds the best stick ever, at least until he finds an even better best stick ever!
Weather!
We were taking Eric out for a walk when we noticed the lake. The weather is picking up. Might be a hell of a storm later.

We were all in a puppy pile on the bed when the dog pretty much fell asleep…
Katy keeps asking me if I think the dog is happy or likes it here. I think the fact that she fell asleep bopping her boob, then resting her head across my neck answers the question.
Bonne fête, la Suisse ??
Yesterday was Swiss national day. The eve of which all shops close early and mess up your berry pavlova making plans. A day where everything should be shut (but nobody told the vendors in the weekly farmer’s market, thereby reviving your berry pavlova plans).
Clan Jones and clan Grogan-Cote met up at clan Lannutti for a great evening of friends, food (!!, including the berry pavlova and the boozy pineapple), wine, laughter and lots of doggy kisses.
Lily was a major center of attention and she loves every minute of it. She loved walking home in the middle of a downpour at 1am a lot less, but she got a good towelling off and she’s going to have a quiet day today, probably like a lot of people.

Bye bye, balcony grass
Katy has been getting more and more aggravated by the state of the balcony and finally got to her cats-barfed-on-it-once-too-many stage, so the grass had to go. I’m of mixed feelings. I really did like having the grass on the balcony, but I do have to admit that it was getting a bit abused. We’re on the basic balcony slabs for now, and we’ll see what we can do for the long term. I’m thinking those Ikea square tiles might be a viable option.

Katy and I spent most of Sunday moving furniture around the flat. The cats were having none of that shit…
