On our way into town this morning, Bean and I saw this. These aren’t twigs blown off of trees. Those are worms. The footpath was covered in them. The picture doesn’t do the situation justice. We had to be careful where we put out feet down so as to not squish them.

Kooza!
Auntie Nat comped us tickets to go see Kooza in Bern. It was Bean’s first show and he loved it :-) We went to see the bears in the old town, did a bit of window shopping, then went to the show. After that, we all had a late (in the case of Bean, very late) dinner at Da Carlo in Lausanne and headed home. All in all, a good but tiring day.

Even setting aside the fact that he’ll come up to you and smell you (to confirm who you are), or that he can tell apart 5 identical blankets just by their stench, he’s now graduated to digging on all fours. Oy vey.

Earlier today, Bean walked past the bar and suggested that Katy and I should have a wine drinking contest one weekend to see who could drink the most. He’d be the judge cause he doesn’t like wine. He said that mummy would really like that a lot. The boy knows his mummy…
