I'm in the doghouse at work

Posted on July 27, 2004 By admin 6 Comments on I'm in the doghouse at work

Bossman informed me that I'm getting into work too late in the morning.

Considering I don't care about my job anymore and I'm not a morning person, I consider coming into work before noon a major achievement.

So now I have to be in earlier.

Bleh.

If it makes you feel better, I'm in the doghouse, too.

Apparently, I was too snotty when asking a child if I could help them with anything, and it made them cry. So I'm not to talk to children anymore, because Boss will be amused and then have trouble comforting them.

No, actually. The kid was staring at me, so I said “May I help you?” and she cried.

    I have spite for children.

I'm actually somewhat proud of the accomplishment. I also made some child think she was a bit insane last week. It's a bit involved, but goes something like this:

Bev: *jumps on a rock and pretends she's gollum*
    Alex & Child: Watch.
    The Next Day:
Child: Bev jumped on a rock and pretended to be Gollum!
Alex: Bev? Nahhh. Bev wouldn't do that!
    Child: But…..?

Quote of the day

Look, that's why there's rules, understand? So that you *think* before you break 'em.
