Attack of things that go buzz

Posted on October 14, 2004 By admin 3 Comments on Attack of things that go buzz

I had to go to McGill yesterday morning for a work meeting, so Katy and I got up early and headed downtown. While I had my meeting, she proceeded to explore (and get lost in) the underground shopping centers.

After my meeting ended, I met up with her and had lunch at Reubens (hmmmm, dead cow burgers) and did a Plateau walking tour. Walked St-Denis to Carre St-Louis, then did Prince-Arthur to St-Laurent, up St-Laurent to Duluth, then back to St-Denis up to Mont-Royal and then took the metro home. I was a really nice walk, and I have pictures (I know, I know, I'm a lazy git to get them processed and online). The only nasty thing that marred an otherwise really nice walk was the fact that there were huge-ass wasps everywhere :( People who know me will know that is a bad thing.

Got home safe and sound and decompressed on the bed for a while before heading out to have crepe night at [info]sbourge with [info]eniran. That was a fun night, even though seeing Katy and Sara on a sugar rush was a scary sight.

Speaking of scary, being attacked by a pair of purple fuzzy boobs at 2am when you get out of the bathroom is not good for the ol' heart.

Today will be a busy day. Katy and I need to figure out if she can stay here an extra 2 weeks.

I hope, I hope, I hope…

I swear to GOD, Richard-me-dear, there is SOME KIND of CURSE on any pics I take with you in the room.

They are sitting on Jo's desktop. They are safe and sound.

Jo's MONITOR decided to shit the bed. I have no way of sending them to you.

    *headDESK*

I'm sorry. I really wanted to send 'em to you yesterday, I'd even compressed the movie files to a manageable size when BZZZZT, the damned thign just died on me.

Will hopefully have it fixed this evening. Hurrah for geeky friends!
