Posted on October 8, 2004 By admin 12 Comments on it soo wasn't me!!!

hello everyone!

richard has just done a very silly thing, a very silly thing indeed! he has left me alone in a room with his laptop, connected to the internet, while he is signed in to live journal…

now… what to do?? what to do??

*rubs chin thoughtfully*

damn!! i used to be so good at messing with peoples accounts….

richard is very VERY ticklish, but then you probably know this anyway. prime spots are neck, knees, and sides… and trust me i say, it really doesn't take much!!

oh, and he actually not a bad singer… get him doing karioke i say…

anyway, the man approaches, so i should go and look harmless for a while…

I have bathtub-envy

Posted on October 8, 2004 By admin 13 Comments on I have bathtub-envy

Katy and I are in Ottawa at the moment. We took the bus yesterday morning (and again, let me reitereate that I do not faff around) and spent the afternoon pushing buttons at the Science and Technology museum in Ottawa. I hadn't been there in ages and though they still have the crazy kitchen, they got rid of a lot of hands-on stuff that I remembered having loads of fun as a kid. Museum done, we came to the hotel. I checked us into the Casino Hilton in Hull for a bit of luxury. Hooah. That bathroom is bigger than my first apartment bedroom! Glrmph.

We had a really nice stroll along Leamy lake (pictures forthcoming), ran into a bunny and a leafblower, discussed interior design and the merits of large bathtubs and non-whorehouse-smelling scented candles. After freshening up, we went and had a nice dinner (hmmmm, calamari and a big slab of dead cow for me, leek and gouda soup and pork chops for Katy). It was funny. Katy felt underdressed (though she looked quite cute in her Felix the cat top), but I really couldn't care less. This isn't Monte Carlo, this is Hull. Though dressing up is fun occasionally, I'm a jeans and t-shirt man at heart and I'm comfortable with that. Dinner was GOOD! Lots of serious and not-so-serious talk, followed by a port and a cigar in the lounge. It's been a while since I indulged my hedonistic side, and this occasion warranted a bit of excess :) It's also good to know what I can bribe her parents with so they like me when I go visit her :D

Came back up to the room, slighly tipsy but in good spirits and I'm not writing more about what happened last night. Let your pervy minds have a field day. I will, however, let you know that I want that bathtub.

As promised in my last post, here are some pictures of the lanterns from the Chinese garden. You can see them here.

For those of you too lazy to click on the link, here's a sneak preview :)

Her: I'm so keeping you.
Me: Why? cause I can cook?
Her: That, and you're good in bed

We made it outside!

Posted on October 6, 2004 By admin

It was touch and go for a while (mostly touch), but we made it outside today. Went to the McCord museum (meh), but had a blast at the botanical garden. The lanterns in the chinese garden are lovely. We made a little detour at Michel and Isabelle's place to pick up the digicam – pictures forthcoming – before heading out and getting lost in the wilderness. Quote of the morning: I'm sorry, I can't take you seriously with those boxers on.

It's a lovely way to spend an evening. Now, we're back home and waiting for dinner to cook. Starving!

Interesting people

It has happened to many of us: you take your seat in a public toilet and, just as nature is about to take its course, someone enters next door. Cue exaggerated coughing and throat clearing in an attempt to drown out the cacophony that sometimes accompanies one of nature's great levellers. Women in Japan, however, no longer have to suffer the indignity of having their movements echo through the ladies' room.

With a flick of the hand, they can call on the Sound Princess.

Once a novelty, the device is now a standard feature of women's toilets in Japan. Its maker, Toto, says more than 500,000 have been sold and orders were up 125% in 2003.

All a woman need do is pass her hand over a sensor to trigger the noise of running water from a speaker. The device not only spares her blushes, but also saves water: embarrassed Japanese women often flush repeatedly to camouflage their efforts.

The devices can now be found in shopping centres and restaurants, but demand is greatest in the workplace, where the person next door could easily be a colleague, or the boss.

“The core of our clientele is schools and companies,” said a Toto spokeswoman, Kumi Goto. “Japanese women are very embarrassed by the sounds they make on the toilet.”

In a country that has for centuries attached importance to personal cleanliness, and where personal shame is to be avoided at all costs, exposing your neighbours to the most private sounds is almost unthinkable.

Urinals have been removed from some schools to spare boys who do not want their friends sniggering as they head for the stalls for a sit-down session. Older males, however, have no qualms. As anyone who has used a Japanese public toilet for men will attest, shame disappears as soon as the sign on the door clicks to occupied.

Ummm, wow.

Posted on October 5, 2004 By admin

How to put in words the undescribable. You can't, not with any sort of coherent order. So, here's just a jumble of ideas and impressions of the past 4 days in order to remember:

1. I was late (this, reminded to me by a wet Katy who's reading behind my shoulder)
2. I never expected to be as comfortable, as quickly, as I am right now
3. Painkillers, good.
4. Sex? wow.
4b. Lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of sex? better. But tiring. I think I broke her, then she broke me. Lather, rinse, repeat.
5. Leaving the apartment at some point would be a good idea – after all, she needs to actually show she's been to Montreal.
6. Biting, good. Tickling, bad†.
7. My lips chafe. This is good and not good.

That is all for now. I need energy, so food beckons.

† Depends on the when, where and why.

Quote of the day: as soon as I can move again, I'm so biting you.

Life is good right now. Not much else to say :)
