Pictures, as promised

Posted on July 24, 2006 By admin 9 Comments on Pictures, as promised

The first batch is up now:

He's actually 3 months old today :)

I woke up at 2am this morning to go for a wee and about 5 minutes after I was in bed, I felt something floomph on my feet. After a bit of maneuvering to get comfy, I went back to sleep with the pussycat at the foot of the bed, leaning on the end of my body pillow. I think I might have kicked him at some point during the night, but he seemed fine this morning so no harm done :)

isn't he though? :) hard to imagine that in less than a year, he'll look something like this: http://www.flubu.com/various_pics/montreal_dec_2005/slides/2005_12230019.JPG

They grow up so fast *sniff*

I've never seen so much fluff outside of poor old Jerry! How does the kitty take to being brushed so far? Jerry (my parents long-haired and rather ditzy orange Tom) has never held still for more than five minutes of grooming at a time (and he's so lazy in other ways!).

first brushing was promising. he let himself get manhandled for a while and then jumped off the couch and floomphed on the floor, where he allowed himself to get brushed a bit more before attaching the brush :)

Sis and I just squealingly looked at the pics. He's utterly cute!

I regularly kick cats out of my bed accidentially and they don't really mind.

Quote of the day

Sam Vimes could parallel process. Most husbands can. They learn to follow their own line of thought while at the same time listening to what their wives say. And the listening is important, because at any time they could be challenged and must be ready to quote the last sentence in full. A vital additional skill is being able to scan the dialogue for telltale phrases such as "and they can deliver it tomorrow" or "so I've invited them for dinner?" or "they can do it in blue, really quite cheaply."
