We're proud of our cat

Posted on October 12, 2007 By admin 4 Comments on We're proud of our cat

He's becoming a proper mouser!

For the past week, he's been bringing us dead mice – usually one a night. He's so cute walking in with them in his mouth, but I have to say he's less cute when he's batting around a mouse corpse around the living room…

Still, he seems to heartbroken when we have to pick up and throw away his “present” for us :)

    …shouldn't that be “amoused”, then?

Quote of the day

Sam Vimes could parallel process. Most husbands can. They learn to follow their own line of thought while at the same time listening to what their wives say. And the listening is important, because at any time they could be challenged and must be ready to quote the last sentence in full. A vital additional skill is being able to scan the dialogue for telltale phrases such as "and they can deliver it tomorrow" or "so I've invited them for dinner?" or "they can do it in blue, really quite cheaply."
--(Terry Pratchett, The Fifth Elephant)
