Finished backing up files from the NAS, just waiting for the bigger disks to arrive. Hopefully I’ll be able to set up my new iPod now.

Our cats are dim
Tolstoy and Pavel are constantly tussling, then 10 minutes later they’re curled up on the same bed. Reenie, in this picture, is getting in a sneaky – and cheeky – butt sniff while the boys are playing.

Harder than I expected
So, this post-a-day thing is going to be a bit harder than I thought it would be. Not a lot to say today. Got the NAS up and running so we have access to our pictures and music. Made a nice curry for dinner. Went for a walk along the lake with Katy and bean. Yelled at the child a lot. Typical weekend stuff. Will post pictures when my phone is charged.

We bought a hamster today. Ostensibly it’s for the bean. Realistically, it’s for Katy. Bean has names him Kwazi, after his favourite Octonaut.
Predictably, the cats, Pavel especially, are quite curious about the whole thing.
