1. I’m pretty sure my teenage self was the target market – that’s one of my favs!

   Of course the illustrator didn’t actually read it, since all the cats in the book are dudes. They genetically manipulated the species to make the chicks non-sentient.

   … then again maybe the illustrator did read it, since this target market obviously bought it ?
