Each night, when I go to bed, Pavel is generally already sleeping at the foot of the bed in a very un-cat-esque pose. It’s just wrong. After I settle in and kick him in the head a few times while trying to get comfy (he’s always on my side), he tends to just walk up me and plop himself down next to me, often using my arm as a pillow. I love that cat, but he dumb.
Asshole cat comes in while I’m on the toilet, yawns and goes to sleep on my foot.
My jeans (or any discarded clothing) make a very good Pavel trap.
When you’re stressed, just look at Pavel eating his paw and everything will be better.
I’ve been laid up with a bad cold since Sunday and have been fairly useless. I’ve either been sleeping or chilling/coughing on the sofa – generally with a Pavel close by.
The parents play. Best thing is that everything fresh is local, from the market.

Pavel will never join mensa, but that’s part of what makes him so loveable. Like when we took great offence at a piece of paper that interfered with his game of catch-the-earbuds.
