A colleague brought me back some proper pita from Lebanon and left them on my desk this morning. Everybody walking past my desk has said a variation of “wow, those are big”. Mad props to Mona! We’re having kebabs for dinner tonight :D

I’m very thankful for the abundance that I have this Christmas. Saw good friends, will have good food with family (though not all of it, due to time and space constraints), there are goodies under the tree and the child still believes in Santa.
Note to self…
For future reference, I will take being dipped in honey and covered with fire ants over doing a 2 hour Tesco run with a tired child, just before Christmas. Just sayin…
